I always try to watch the movie on Groundhog Day. It's one of my favorites. And I remember writing this same comment last year. Groundhog Day has commenced!

E.C. Henry

NEVER get tired of reading the exciting adventure Danny Rubin went on during the making and pre-making of "GroundHog Day."

He's got a really cool blogsite too -- for those so inclined. It's the "DANNY RUBIN" link off Billy's "Friends and Fun Site." What a cool age we live in where you can actually GO visit someone who wrote movie magic and interface with him. (You can thank Billy for that)

This time of year always depresses me. Yearly reminders of what I don't have. My brother got married a year and half ago. He's got a child now. Cutest little guy you've ever seen, Brycen Henrikson. He's almoast a year old now, and when he smiles at you, you think you're heart is going to explode out of your chest. To hear him try to speak words> Pure bliss, can't quite find the words for that emotion. My two cousins are both married too now with young kids. But here I am trapped in my own perverbial "Grounhog Day," working jobs with people I don't really like or have anything in common with. Luckily I have been blessed with real cool story ideas to explore, write and struggle with. Still find writing magical. A place where you can be the hero -- and get the girl! In a time and space that are safe, where monster of real life can't touch you.

Valentine's Day: Consumerism and bullshit.

Groundhog Day: Hope, Acceptance, Oddball humor.

Obviously, I have my favorite.

Maestro

Using the above definition of a romcom, it seems to me that Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog would qualify. Yes? No? Maybe?

I just finished watching. I've seen it before but now with new eyes. Very well written. Talk about character arc, eh? Awesome movie!

Dave

For some unknown reason I am experiencing my own Groundhog Day with this post........and I still love it.

Keep it up Storyman
cheers

Christina: May it ever be so.

EC: Brycen sounds adorable. Keep the faith, EC -- perseverance furthers!

J: Sounds right to me.

Maestro: You shame me, dastardly Maestro, as I still -- STILL -- haven't experienced the wonders of the good Dr.'s show (inexcusable for a Whedon and musical fan, I know). I plan to hie me thence, ASAP, as I have a feeling your assessment will prove correct.

JamminGirl: And the wonderful thing is, it's awesomer every time.

Dave: I know! It's almost as if we've somehow been right here before...

Is there any chance that you can put my blog in your Friends & Fun Site list?

I like to be a friend, but it's okay with funny to, if you say so :-)
