E.C. Henry

Thanks for another year of great, insightfull posts, Billy.

I hope things go well with your adaptation of your novel into a sceenplay, right? Adaptations can be tricky beasts, as I've found out this past year...
But you're a pro. Seasoned and groomed for such a undertaking as this. Hopefully all things will run ticky-boom with your novel adaptation. I like the fact you put to practice what you preach. Now go get 'em tiger!

Billy,
OOH, I'm a glutton, but I'll try only reading one a day and absorbing them to do my body good...just like vitamins.

congrats on year four.
Did you get a tiara?
Karen :)

Mr. Word Player

Happy 4th Blogaversary Billy! Will you celebrate with the traditional fruit and flowers, or go modern with something silk?
Thanks for stopping by the Word Player and adding me to your 'roll. To help you celebrate, today's pitch will be a rom-com dedicated to LTRC. Cheers!

J

I'm so glad you're around.

Because most of the other screenwriters I know are batshit.

It's good to see success comes to normal people as well.

Best of luck.

PS Billy, have you seen the direct to DVD movie "I could never be your woman" with Michelle Pfieffer and Paul Rudd? Love to hear your thoughts on it, can't recall you writing about that one(could just be losing my mind) thought you might enjoy it.

EC: Tricky beast, indeed. And you can't always feed it steak...

Karen: No crowns or tiara included.

Mr. Player: Thanks for the pitch. Way cool.

J: This is success?! Thank you, at any rate, for the non-bat-shit certification.

Thank you Binnie!

Thank you Ms. Barbara!

Thank you Muffin!

Thanks, Judith - The Expo should be a blast.

Dave: I don't know this film but will happily hunt it up.

Dave

It was written and directed by Amy Heckerling, whilst not perfect, my wife and I agreed on a word to describe it, delightful.

Then you read the development hell it went through and we were surprised it made it out at all.
Hope you enjoy.
cheers
David
